Our cottages in Walden dale in the Yorkshire Dales

For the last couple of weeks Joanne and I have been visiting the cottages for their annual inspection by the VisitEngland assessor. Not all cottages are inspected every year but this year first on the list was Grange House and Hill Top Cottage in Walden.

Walden dale in the glorious Yorkshire Dales

Walking on a peaceful late summer Sunday morning in Walden, a beautiful little dale that runs down to West Burton in the glorious Yorkshire Dales. A reminder, if I ever needed one, to know how very lucky I am to be alive and to live in this wondrous part of the world.
