Circular walk from Richmond to find Willance’s Leap

On a bright, shining, truly stunning winter’s day we set off from Richmond in a westerly direction to find the monument at Willance’s Leap, an interesting if gory story but well worth a read and well worth walking to!

Walking from Grinton along the Swale Trail

Having never heard of the Swale Trail I was intrigued! This a 12 mile long trail for cyclists of all abilities setting off from Reeth and finishing in Keld, fairly easy going for most of the way with more inclines as you near Keld. Wonderful views as you would expect sometimes in sight of the River Swale.
