What a beautiful, clear autumn day to walk from Askrigg, mid Wensleydale with our walking group, in the glorious Yorkshire Dales, a comfortable walk of about four and a half miles and mostly easy terraine.

Wonderful walk from Marsett, in Raydale in the glorious Yorkshire Dales, into Bardale. Park by the bridge and follow the sign into Bardale and round in a circle. Lots of wild flowers to gaze at, a little beck to follow

Just stunning! What more can one say? Breathtaking scenery looking towards Hawes across Wensleydale in the glorious Yorkshire Dales. Clearing skies, calm and fine, perfect day for walking the hills. A sprinkling of snow above Hawes so warm clothing needed.............

Walden dale a pretty dale looking down to Wensleydale

Walden dale, with West Burton village at the bottom, swept clean of deciduous leaves after the recent winds, beautiful none the less, just breathtaking!

Cauldron Falls in pretty village of West Burton, Wensleydale

Peaty coloured water in the Cauldron Falls after recent rains. The waterfall is by no means in full flow though, should have come up yesterday with my camera! Probably be another opportunity though as the year goes along......................
