The Joys of Autumn in the glorious Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale AONB

Every year my husband Geoff and I have a discussion about the leaves on the trees in autumn. He always maintains the leaves will be all be on the ground leaving the trees bare by Bonfire Night (sorry to remind you I know there won’t be a Bonfire Night this year) I say the leaves will still be there on the trees!

A Day of Waterfalls in wonderful Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales

I wondered if it might be a nice idea to have a day visiting the waterfalls found in Wensleydale, you may already have bet me to it and done them, please excuse if so. There will be too many in total to visit in just one day, lots of little ones dotted on the map, tried to ‘Google’ how many but no information, so perhaps some of the main ones for starters.

The weather may have been a bit inclement last Tuesday but our walking group still had a most enjoyable walk from Carperby through the fields to Aysgarth Falls in the glorious Yorkshire Dales.
