Swinton Estate near Masham

Every few months or so a small group of friends and I meet to enjoy a few hours relaxation at the Swinton Country Club and Spa near  Masham on the edge of Nidderdale AONB. This last time we went in the morning and finished off with a delicious lunch in The Terrace restaurant. Pure bliss in lovely surroundings and always carefully looked after by the staff. But there is so much more to Swinton Estate than the spa.

Indulge in afternoon tea, fine dining in Samuel’s Restaurant or enjoy a stroll round the parkland and gardens. There are Forest Bathing days, Nordic Walking classes and wild swimming in the lake. Cookery courses, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, pony trekking and many other activities to join in with.

Do have a look on their website for more details.

We  have lovely cottages in Masham and surrounding area in Wensleydale and Nidderdale for you to stay and be so close to the Swinton Estate. Give us a call on 01969 663559, we’re here to help if you have any questions or book online on our user friendly website. Hear from you really soon!
