Share

Galphay is a pretty little village of about seventy houses, some clustered around the large village green. The village boasts a pub, The Galphay Inn, and village hall. You'll find The Galphay Inn a welcoming place with hand pulled real ales, a varied menu, Thursday night is steak night and various little happenings through the week.

Find out more at the Galphay Inn Annual events in the village include Open Gardens and Summer Market, village BBQ and celebrating Yorkshire Dales. Some four miles from Ripon, the smallest city in the UK, about two and half miles from Kirkby Malzeard and just over seven miles to Masham. Not far from Galphay is Mistle House, one of our beautiful holiday cottages sleeping five people, situated on a quiet lane with wonderful views across the valley.

Close to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, Newby Hall, exploring Nidderdale, and a little further to the west, the Yorkshire Dales. Many footpaths crisscross the valley making for days of endless walking if you wish. A place to relax and just enjoy the glorious countryside but near all the surrounding towns and villages have to offer.

Our lovely property, Mistle House to sleep five, is just a short distance from Galphay.
