White Rose Candles, Wensley, Yorkshire Dales

And today we made a visit to the White Rose Candles in Wensley, near Leyburn, in the glorious, where else, ‪#‎YorkshireDales‬. What an interesting place to visit, the building itself is just worth a look with a little waterfall and a community garden to the side. Loads of different candles to choose from, long ones, short ones, coloured ones, perfumed ones, fat ones……… You can watch the candles being made and Jenny et al are so happy to answer any questions. We chose some candles about an 1 inch in diameter which had taken 25 dips before being completely finished, all done by hand too.
