Walking along Eastfield Lane from West Burton to Thoralby

A wonderful February day, too good to miss not walking out. An easy walk, just for an hour, setting off from West Burton to Eshington Bridge and along Eastfield Lane, known locally as Spickles Lane, to come out at Thoralby. Here you can go down Goose Lane and over the little footbridge and return walking on the road or take a longer route, not a lot further, and walk to Newbiggin in Bishopdale and return across the fields. Wonderful views at every step and back in plenty of time for tea!
