The Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in Masham 2 until 5 June 2022

Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration

If you are here in the glorious Yorkshire Dales over the weekend of the Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebrations be sure to visit Masham! Their programme of events is outstanding, starting with Five a Side Football in the morning, Tug of War in the afternoon various other events and finishing off with the lighting of the beacon on Roomer Common in the evening and that was just day one on Thursday 2 June 2022.

The second day, Friday, starts in the afternoon with Parade of Floats led by Reeth Brass Band, BBQ from 3pm, Band on the Square from 7.30, finishing with fireworks at 10pm. Saturday the fun still keeps happening with afternoon tea and concerts and on Sunday, the grand finale, a Royale Peal of Bells, Service of Thanksgiving in St Mary’s Church and then a street party to bring your own food and share and a natter with everyone!

Probably a few days celebration not to be missed in this pretty market town.

We have a few cottages left over this period, Maltings and Forge Cottage in Masham, Holt Barn and Warren Barn at Kirkby Malzeard a few miles away and The Hay Barn near Grewelthorpe. Call me Nadine or my daughter Joanne on 01969 663559 for friendly help and advice and to book over the telephone or of course book on line if you wish. Come and join us!
