Swaledale Festival 2025

It won’t be long, just a few days now, before the fabulous Swaledale Festival starts. This Saturday 24 May until Saturday 7 June, two whole weeks of amazing things to immersive ourselves in and enjoy! A magical festival taking place in Swaledale, Arkengarthdale and Wensleydale and definitely not to be missed! As they say, sorry, there is something for everyone. Music, arts, walking, a chance to be creative and so much more all set in the wonderful backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales.

World class artists, from classical to jazz, will thrill us, young artists will astound us, guided walks will beguile us. Theatre, film, exhibitions, poetry, comedy and puppetry. Perhaps try something you’ve never tried before, photography, basketry, collage. The festival starts with a singing day for all to come and join in the workshop focusing on Faure’s beautiful and popular Requiem.

Take a look on their website for all the information about each event. Tickets can be purchased online at www.swalefest.org

We do still have a few beautiful cottages available for these next two weeks, have a look on our Country Hideaways website for ideas and call me, Nadine, or my daughter Joanne, on 01969 663559 for friendly advice and to book over the telephone.

We hope to see you quite soon!
