My back has gone into spasm so no walking!

Just over a month ago a very silly thing happened, I was bending down to pick up the vacuum cleaner and ping my back goes into spasm, didn’t even reach the thing in question! Anyone who has experienced this, and I think I’m one of many, will understand the excruciating pain and total immobility, for a while at least!

Penhill, in glorious Wensleydale, twice!!

We’re off to scale the heights of Snowdon next week and so with a mind that we should be upping our training thought we should walk up Penhill, not just once but twice! If you’re up for a bit of a challenge, want to keep it local and experience the most fantastic views then read further.

Last of the sun after another glorious winters day……

Last of the winter sun for today in the Yorkshire Dales looking towards Thupton Gill in Walden from Bishopdale, after a sky high and blue. Still, quiet and calm and bit warmer than yesterday but always glorious!
