There's always lots going on around the dales and this March there is plenty to see and do, just a few ideas below.

Bolton Castle – open daily – enjoy an historic tour of the castle, wander the gardens and get lost in the maze or enjoy a Hawk walk! 

Ripon Museums – open daily – take a step back in time and walk in the footsteps of past generations. Follow the story of poverty, crime & punishment through three museums.

The Wensleydale Creamery and Visitor Centre – open Monday – Sunday – visit the new interactive family experience including Cheese-making Demonstrations, Viewing Gallery and Museum, browse the Cheese and Gift shop or grab a bite to eat in the 1897 Coffee Shop or Calvert's Restaurant. 

Wensleydale Ice Cream – Hard Banks Ice Cream Parlour and Coffee Shop in Wensleydale just off the A684 in between Aysgarth and Bainbridge. Open Friday, Saturday and Sundays 11am until 4pm.

Stage 1 Cycles – Stage 1 Cycles is a family run bike hub in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Getting people of all ages out on bike is our thing. With bike sales, hire, service, learning and much more, there's a lot going on! Drop in to our very own Firebox cafe for an ace Roost coffee, refuel, choose a new bike or just to soak up a bit of the atmosphere.  Onsite mechanic is here and waiting to get you back on the road with minimum fuss.

Dales Countryside Museum – tells the fascinating story of the Yorkshire Dales and the people who have lived and worked here and shaped the landscape for thousands of years. With loads of fun and interesting things for visitors of all ages to see and do, the Museum offers the chance to discover what is so unique about the Yorkshire Dales and make your visit to the area really special. Open daily 10am until 5pm.

Jervaulx Abbey and Tea Rooms – Set in the midst of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, Jervaulx Abbey's dramatic, yet tranquil ambience has won the hearts of many of its visitors. Our Tearooms, run by the same family, is full of Local sourced and Homemade Delights. Jervaulx Abbey, is open all year round, dawn till dusk.
