Description

Low Wood is a stylish newly renovated property to sleep 5, sitting at the head of the beautiful village of West Burton, its elevated position gives views into both Wensleydale and Bishopdale. A stone built semi-detached house with walks from the doorstep and the village green only a moment away. The village boasts a play area, shop, pub and pretty Cauldron Falls making this a great place to stay.

The house has a gated walled garden to the front which links to the rear garden with secure bicycle store. The rear garden has a large lawn and two patio areas, one can be accessed directly from the kitchen, making alfresco dining easy on sunny evenings, the other at the boundary edge has magnificent views across the fields into Bishopdale. Access to the cottage is from either door at the front, but for the convenience of hanging coats and storing boots and shoes it is better to use the side entrance.

Entry from the side door is into a hallway with hanging and storage space, the hallway gives access to the downstairs shower room with multi-head shower, washbasin and toilet to the right and leads through to the spacious sunroom with large comfortable sofas, multi-fuel stove and french doors leading to the patios and garden. From here, you can access the stylish, well-equipped kitchen with dining area providing everything you need to cater during your stay. There is a small utility room under the stairs housing a washer/dryer. The kitchen leads to the front of the house via a hallway, which in turn leads to the front garden. Off the hallway is a cosy snug with sofas, electric stove and smart tv.

A stairway rises from the hallway to a landing which gives way to three bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, overhead shower, washbasin and toilet. The spacious master bedroom to the rear of the house has a super-king size bed, this bedroom views out over the rear garden and beyond into the dales. The remaining bedrooms are to the front of the house, one bedroom has two 2’6in single beds, these can be joined to make a king-size bed if preferred, and the other a small double.

This newly renovated house is modern in style, with carefully thought-out social spaces making it perfect for families or friends to getaway and explore The Dales while making memories together.
