The Swaledale Festival 2024

We are so looking forward to the Swaledale Festival this year which starts on 25 May until 8 June 2024 and held in various venues in Wensleydale and Swaledale in the glorious Yorkshire Dales. Always such a variety of events to attend, music, arts, talks, poetry, guided walking, dry stone walling, workshops. All events will be quite individual and it will be difficult to choose I’m sure! In addition to these events the Swaledale Festival, which is a registered charity, has received several awards for its extensive community and education work in the area.

Venues include St Andrew’s Church, Aysgarth; The Garden Rooms at Tennant’s, Leyburn; St Mary’s Church, Richmond; the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond; St Andrew’s Church, Grinton all very easy to travel to if you’re staying in one of our cottages.

Booking tickets is easy on the Swaledale Festival website and usually it is always best to book beforehand. All information can be found on their website.

We do have Country Hideaways cottages available from 25 May and onwards and if you would like to book please call me, Nadine, or my daughter Joanne to book over the telephone and for friendly help and advice on 01969 663559 or if you’re quick you can book your chosen cottage online if you prefer but only until seven days beforehand after that please do give us call.

See you there!
