The salmon are back…………!

A great stirring of excitement this last week in Walden Beck at West Burton in the glorious Yorkshire Dales, the salmon were forging their way up stream to spawn! Word goes around and we're their to witness this event each year, draws quite a little crowd to the waterfall area. You can watch from The Old Wheelhouse at The Mill though. The property owners just happened to be here to witness the fishes' heroic leaps up the rapids and to take photos, I think they'd spent quite a while just enjoying this spectacle looking through the windows before venturing out.
