The Dales Festival of Food and Drink is coming up in June, a celebration of the very best the Yorkshire Dales has to offer held the large market place in Leyburn. Now a free event, please park at Tennants and let the shuttle buses take you into town.
Leyburn has a host of food and gift shops, hotels, public houses and restaurants, why not visit them whilst at the festival and buy something special, have lunch, a snack or a cup of tea. The Dales have a tremendous reputation for making music too so spend some time listening to four award winning Bands playing jazz, traditional band music, swing and popular tunes. Leyburn Band, Old Glory Jazz Band, Muker Silver Band and Reeth Brass Band will be serenading us over the weekend.
