La Cuisine in Leyburn

La Cuisine in Leyburn

We had another birthday celebration approaching so the discussion turned to where we should go, The Wensleydale Heifer, The Sandpiper, Simonstone Hall, Queens Head in Finghall and so the list went on until it was suggested that we try La Cuisine in Leyburn in Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales.

La Cuisine hasn’t been open for long, it was somewhere different, so our table was booked and off we went. What a lovely evening. There were just a few tables taken but there was a great atmosphere, my sort of music in the background, the staff were very helpful and the food was quite delicious. We had teenagers with us and you know how picky they can be but no complaints from them at all. Pudding was also ordered and again very much enjoyed. The chef having completed his tasks for the evening came out and had a word to make sure everything had been okay. We all declared it was a good night and would return. Words taken from their website ‘Immerse yourself in an inviting ambience, where warm hospitality meets contemporary design, and every detail is meticulously crafted to create a memorable dining experience.’ So agree!

We also ventured for lunch the following week, a couple of friends were having a flying visit, so again we booked to go to La Cuisine. Again all was delicious and Nicky even announced to the waiter that her chicken was more than perfect! No pudding this time but wonderful coffee to finish.

Do give La Cuisine in Leyburn a try, they have themed nights too, the last one was Caribbean food which we were informed was fully booked.

Come and stay in one of our beautiful Country Hideaways holiday cottages and enjoy a visit to La Cuisine. Call me Nadine or my daughter Joanne on 01969 663559 to book over the telephone and for friendly help and advice or do book online if you prefer.

Very much looking forward to hearing from you quite soon!
