Did you know that since 2002 the Dales Festival of Food and Drink held in Leyburn has generated surplus funds of over £154,000 which has been distributed to local community organisations around the dales.

Organised by the Leyburn & Mid-Wensleydale Partnership Ltd we can say a large thank you to them and also for all their hard work in making this event such a superb and varied affair along with the support of local businesses in and around Leyburn, volunteers and members of the Partnership itself.

The list of exhibitors is nye on exhaustive, from chocolates to chutneys, cakes to chilli sauces, canny coffee to cheese and that’s just some of the ‘c’s! Crafts and gifts, music and entertainment, demonstrations and cooking, a truly great weekend and it’s free! Have a wander round Leyburn too, café’s, independent shops, hotels and bars, galleries.
