Pateley Bridge is a small market town perched on a steep sided valley in the wonderful Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Beauty. There has been a settlement on this site since the 12th century and very picturesquely straddles the River Nidd.

Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day, clear, warm, sunny just perfect and today, oh my, its raining! Talk about the English weather, well I suppose we do talk about it all the time! Got thinking about what to do when its raining and thought…… caves!
