Circular Walk From Hardrow into Cotterdale
On a perfectly, perfect day in January we set off on a circular walk from Hardrow near Hawes into Cotterdale. There had been some snow and the ground was hard…
A Day of Waterfalls in wonderful Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales
I wondered if it might be a nice idea to have a day visiting the waterfalls found in Wensleydale, you may already have bet me to it and done them, please excuse if so. There will be too many in total to visit in just one day, lots of little ones dotted on the map, tried to ‘Google’ how many but no information, so perhaps some of the main ones for starters.
From Hawes into Cotterdale and the Pennine Way, two viaducts and a waterfall!
On what turned out to be the perfect January day we set off from Hawes in a north westerly direction. A beautiful circular walk, just over ten miles with a good climb from Thwaite bridge.
