Hamilton's Tea Room in Aysgarth in Wensleydale

Have you ever called at Hamilton’s Tea Room in Aysgarth? If you have you’ll how good the fare is there. Cakes and scones all home made by Sandra and obligingly and carefully served with a helping of good humour by Steve.

Aysgarth is a mostly linear village in mid Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales and Hamilton’s Tea Room is easy to find by the side of the road with plenty of non restricted parking opposite or by the little triangular village green. Sandra and Steve have been serving their customers for many years now and have quite the reputation for a good place to eat. They are open from Easter to end October having a much needed rest through the winter months.

If it’s a sunny day enjoy sitting in the garden to the side of the café, or if not, in the pleasant café with plenty of variety on the menu to choose from and I think Friday is pie day! Best to book I feel. Lots of books to peruse, I think there’s a bit of book swop going on, along with other all things Yorkshire Dales to tempt. If you’re passing then do call in. Or make a day of it and walk over the fields down to Aysgarth Falls, have a look on our Blog for ideas.

All our Country Hideaways cottages are well within travelling distance of Aysgarth, have a look on our website for ideas. Call me Nadine or Joanne to book over the telephone on 01969 663559 and for friendly help and advice or of course do book online if prefer.

See soon!
