At the entry to West Burton the road runs alongside Walden beck with its picturesque cascades and deep pools. An enchanting pack horse bridge crosses the beck leading to the heights of Morpeth Scar and under the distant crags of Penhill. Here set back from the roadside is The Garth in private grounds with the two apartments of Beck Side, a ground floor apartment, and Bridge view, a first floor apartment.
The gated entrance to The Garth opens to a large gravelled parking and turning area at the front of the properties. The main access to Beck Side is through French windows which open to a lounge with flagged hearth and multi-fuel stove and dining area. Off the lounge is a well equipped fitted kitchen. To the side of the kitchen is a bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. Also from the kitchen a hallway leads to a shared utility room with full washing and drying facilities. The apartment can also be entered through an external door which leads to a walled, flagged patio with access to the bedroom.
Beck Side is a cosy, ground floor apartment with modern stylish rooms, oak furniture, fine fittings and all the conveniences of modern life. A keen eye to detail and the needs of holidaymakers has resulted in an apartment with all that is required for contemporary living in a relaxing air.
Please note for short breaks there is a minimum charge of five nights.

More About West Burton“The quality of the fitments. The location. The cleanliness was superb. All very high quality and everything you could need where you need it! Welcoming but not over intrusive hosts. Tea, coffee, milk, eggs very welcome. Loved the cake and lemon curd!!”Mrs L Sinclair, 17th July 2020
