So now it must be official, what we’ve known all along that the Yorkshire Dales National Park is the best, the best in Europe that is and eleventh in the world as voted by users of Tripadvisor. Quite an accolade but how could it not be so?

An amazing place to live and to visit. Waterfalls galore, expansive moors, rivers, pretty villages, interesting little towns, miles upon miles of beautiful walks, hilly or otherwise, quiet places to find peace and recharge those depleted batteries and find yourself again. You’ll find the second highest peak here, Ingleborough, the longest free falling drop of any waterfall in the UK at Hardrow Force, Malham Tarn and Semer Water, two of the largest lakes in North Yorkshire. Wensleydale Cheese, loads of micro breweries to seek out, local produce is everywhere, artisan shops. Spoilt for choice with pubs, restaurants and cafes. Caves, wildlife, wildflowers abound, quiet roads to cruise along, magnificent views, provision for cyclists, the list could be endless I suppose.

If you haven’t been to the Yorkshire dales then do have a look on our website for availability or give me, Nadine, or my daughter Joanne a call on 01969 663559 for friendly help and advice. If you have enjoyed a holiday here and need to return then do please get in touch!
