After what has seemed a long, long wait the Wensleydale Concert Series is back for 2021! All concerts had to be cancelled in 2020 of course but this year’s series is back with a vengeance with a wonderful programme of music over the summer months.

All concerts are held in St Andrew’s Church in Aysgarth in Wensleydale, a truly wonderful setting, as the organisers felt this was the best venue to ensure Covid-safe audiences. All tickets will be sold online, over the telephone or by post and must be purchased beforehand. Please note no tickets will be sold at the door.

The series opens with baritone Thomas Guthrie and pianist Daniel Grimwood performing Schubert's song cycle "Die schöne Müllerin" (The Fair Maid of the Mill based on poems by Wilhelm Müller) on Saturday 17 July, six concerts in all until Wednesday 22 September. Please find out more here and book tickets here.

We have cottages nearby, if you’d like to come and enjoy please do call me Nadine, or my daughter Joanne, on 01969 663559 for friendly help and advice or, of course, book online.

See you there!
