• The nearest bus stop is in the village 300 yards away.
• The nearest train station is at Northallerton.
• A Welcome Hamper can be ordered from Country Hideaways for your arrival.

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities

• There is a car park in front of the building with allocated spaces for The Mill.
• The entrance has 3 steep steps approximately 2 feet wide with a hand rail on the left.
 

• Standard width door, opening inwards.  

Dining Room and Lounge

• Dining room is open plan with lounge and kitchen.
• Rectangular table with legs on each corner and 6 chairs without arms.
• One double sofa and two easy chairs all leather.
• Oak floor throughout.
• TV with remote and DVD player.

• Automatic washer and dryer in the kitchen.
• Airer and ironing board can be found in the boiler room.

Self-catering Kitchen
• Open plan kitchen with dining room.
• Worktop height is 90cm.
• Double oven, sink with cupboards underneath, electric hob, fridge with icebox, dishwasher.

Grounds and Gardens
• No garden but surrounded by lovely countryside with river and waterfall, swimming permitted but at own risk.
• Small stone terrace with table and chairs.
Grounds and Gardens
A north-facing patio/garden area overlooking the river. Accessed through the French doors or kitchen door or from the main outside entrance down 12 steps. There is a wooden table and seating (benches and chairs) for 6.
A mobile barbeque is under the shelf in the laundry room.
Outside the main entrance, the area is free of through traffic and there is full access to the adjacent river/waterfall/pools and the stone packhorse bridge which leads to numerous footpaths on Pen Hill.
The village with its large green and children's play area is 'around the corner'.
