Woodpecker Cottage is a delightful, traditional dales cottage reached by a small lane leading to Low Green and down towards Bishopdale Beck.  Access is through a small flagged yard and up four stone steps that give entry to a lovely well equipped kitchen with ample room for dining. 

Off the kitchen is a small hallway that leads to a charming and very comfortable, cosy lounge with beamed ceiling and open fire with a stone hearth and canopy.  A stairway also leads from the hall to three bedrooms and bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet.  One bedroom has a double bed, the other two bedrooms a single bed each. 

There are pleasing views up Bishopdale or towards Wensleydale and Penhill from the bedrooms.  In the small yard outside there is room to sit and take in the morning sunshine and an outbuilding that serves as a fuel and utility store.

The cottage has been renovated to a particularly high standard blending the tradition of open stonework and beams with pine fittings enhanced by stylish decoration and quality furnishing providing a very high standard of accommodation.
