School House, Askrigg...

School House is a pretty, detached cottage sitting on one of two narrow twists and turns of Mill Lane, facing down the lane towards Mill Gill. 

The front entrance opens into a small reception hallway that gives entry to a cosy lounge with a raised hearth open stone fireplace to the left and a kitchen with dining area to the right.  Through the kitchen is a small understair utility store and cloakroom that opens to a flagged patio garden, with a fuel store to the rear of the cottage.  This can also be accessed from Mill Lane by a narrow alley to the side of the cottage.

A traditional stone flagged stairway leads from the front hall to the two first floor bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two singles, each bedroom having ample fitted wardrobe space.  There is also a small bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. 

School House is a traditional Dales cottage in a tranquil setting, in a popular and historic village and offers a good standard of accommodation.
