Loved the little (real) Christmas tree. Wonderful welcome with fire lit and carols on the radio. Nice to have the card and presents and find the chestnuts ready to roast 'on the open fire'. Very comfortable beds - brilliant nights' sleep. Very impressed by general condition and furnishings.

Very clean and well equipped. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Local crafts, prints etc a lovely touch.

Had everything you need and more. Ideal location, lovely cottage. Owner left homemade scones, lovely touch and they were gorgeous.

Cleanliness and peaceful location. Friendly neighbours. Comfortable and very nicely furnished. We had the opportunity of meeting the owner and the caretakers and they were both extremely nice.

Location, welcome hamper which used local produce (ordered from Country Hideaways), cleanliness and facilities in cottage. Askrigg is a wonderful placeand ideally located in the Dales - great walks from the cottage door.
