Green Gables Flat, West Burton

About halfway up the village green the minor road forks and leaves the village as a single track road into Walden. Here stands Green Gables and the first floor studio apartment overlooking the upper part of the village green.

Access is from a private gravelled yard, with space to park, and up an external stairway to an open porch which provides entry to the roomy lounge. To one side of the lounge area is a modern, well equipped fitted kitchen area with Corian countertops and laminate floor and dining table and to the other side a sleeping area with comfortable double bed. Off the lounge is a shower room with a tiled shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet.

The apartment has recently been meticulously renovated to provide a degree of space and comfort that belies its small proportions. This is helped by the depth of natural light and warmth given by the three main windows and kitchen window that also provide views up and down the village and over the rooftops to the hills of Wensleydale.

The use of modern lighting and muted tones in fittings, furnishings and decoration give a cosy feel and help to provide a high standard of accommodation.
