Grange Cottage (t), Thoralby

Off the high green the houses straddle the minor road as it passes through to link remote farm houses and eventually turn to hillside tracks leading to the moors. Grange Cottage is a semi-detached, Grade II Listed Building sitting peacefully, just off the green, in the tranquil heart of the village.

Entry is to a spacious, well proportioned lounge with beamed ceiling and stone fireplace with multi-fuel stove. Off the lounge is a well equipped, shaker style kitchen with laminate floor and ample room for family dining that overlooks the garden. A stairway with decorative balustrade and stylish arched window rises from the lounge to a small landing serving a large twin bedroom to the front, a double bedroom to the rear and a bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet.

To the rear of the cottage is a mature, south facing, open garden with lawn and flowerbeds and wonderful views throughout Bishopdale and beyond into Wensleydale and the lower reaches of Walden.

A stout and traditional dales family house renovated with care to retain its character, furnished with a mix of antique and modern and loving care in its decoration to provide a high standard of accommodation for all the family to enjoy.
